4 Players Passing and Moving
Progression from the 3 Players Passing and Moving. This time since you have 4 players the movement is that much more confusing.
A. Player 1 passes to player 2 (the player not on either side of him) and then moves to the open space. Player 2 will do all the same details as the 3 player version.
Player 3 (the player next to the player receiving the ball) will fill the space of the passer.
Player 4 will fill the open space.
B. Player 2 now has the ball and again passes to the player not next to him which is now player 3
Player 3 does all of his details when he receives the pass
Player 4 who is next to the player receiving the pass fills the passers space
Player 1 fills the open space

Everton Box Passing Drill
•Set up a 12x12 grid with 2 cones in the middle of the grid 2 yards apart.
•Have a line of people at each cone around the grid and 1 person on each of the 2 cones in the middle.
•2 balls at 2 opposite diagonal corners of the grid.
•2 players in the middle check away from the ball opposite them and check to the ball while switching sides. They receive a pass, check their shoulder, fix their shape, receive on the half turn and make a pass to the next cone. The person receiving the pass does the same shoulder check and reception on the half turn and then works moves while dribbling to the next line. After the turn and pass the player moves to where he passed and the first passer also follows his pass and moves to the middle now.
•Progression has the pass to the middle being a man on call, instead of the turn call. Now the ball is passed back with a set call and then sent up to the next line. Same change of line process goes on.
•Next progression has the player in the middle calling for an overlap after he makes the set pass and then receiving the ball back and then sending it up to the next cone.
•Lastly, after the overlap, don’t pass straight but instead pass to the opposite corner player (who checked away, checked to, checked shoulder, fixed shape, received on the half turn) and then he plays a give and go with the player opposite him to then continue the sequence on the other side. (only 2 balls are used in this progressed version of this drill.)

4 passes to 5

After the players pass, they fill the line that they passes the ball to.
Set-Up
half of your 9 aside pitch is idea, in indoors, might have to compact the space a bit for functionality but try to use half the 9 aside pitch.
preferably only have extra players behind player 2 and 6 for smoother rotations with an extra on 1 and 5 for the first go to get the session started.

#3. While the ball is travelling, where are you moving and why?

When player 4 receives the ball, player 5 pictures the pressure coming to him too fast and after his check off to come back to the ball, he goes back door for player 4 to pass the ball through.
Progression #2
When player 4 receives the ball, player 5 has a proper defender closing him down and this time bounces the ball back to 4 and plays a wall pass around the defender.
Progression #3.
When player 4 passes to player 5s feet, player 4 overlaps player 5. Player 5 takes his touch inside the pitch and reverses the ball to the overlapping run.
