Organization: 40 x 30m. Set Up as shown.
Instructions: Pass, Follow Pass.
Coaching Points: Realistic movement, passing speed and first touch from players. Communication. Watch teammates 1st touch and adjust position/timing accordingly. Recieve Back foot and open hips to make next pass. Pace and accuracy of passes. Play to the correct foot.

Organization: 35yds x 30yds Grid. Play 5(+2) vs 3(+2).
Instructions: 5 v 3 Positioning game. Players on the outside plus the 6 must keep possession for as long as possible using 2 touches maximum. If inside players win the ball then 2 of the outside players (appropriate ones by position and area of the ball) join in to win back. If players #3 & #4 can play a direct pass to #6 or #8 then the same game of possession continues on the other side of 5 v 3. The #7 & #11 plus one more player from the grid must join to have a third player trying to get the ball.
Coaching Points: Quality of pass (accuracy, weight and pace), realistic movement on and off the ball, and keeping team shape/support. Combination Play. Support. Communication. Defensive compactness, screening passing lanes.Starting position in relation to the ball in a passing lane. Support ball whenever possible. Movement to create space for ball.

Organization: Half-pitch (50ydsx50yds). 7v5.
Instructions: The game starts with Goalkeeper. Whites try to dribble ball over the 1/2 line. Blues try to score as quickly as possible. Play 7v5. 7 players including goal keeper. #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #8
5 Opponents. #6, #7, #8, #9, #10 & #11. Progression: Blue team has only 15 seconds to score.
Coaching Points: When GK has the ball, make the field as big as possible. Try to receive the ball in a way that you can immediately play forward pass with good ball speed to move opponents out of positions. Communicate information to team-mates of opponents positioning as well as your own. Can you get yourself into a passing lane & recognize the moment to ask for the ball? Play direct ball to midfield if possible. Support the ball by providing a line of pass and taking up a position to receive in time and space. Try to switch play as much as possible. Use the GK to switch across the back-line if forward pass is not on. When you pass to #2 or #5 drop and provide a supporting position.

Progression: Add Check Away, Back to MOVEMENT. Add passive defender between #2, #3 & #6 to close down space and cut off a passing option. Player #3 to pick best passing option.
Increase the tempo/intensity and ball speed. Add additional balls.
