uses bigger touches in order to get ball out of feet and into top speed as quick as possible

when dribbling the ball use small touches and sudden changes of direction with skills or feints in order to beat defender also change of speed

warm up (10 mins)

Techincal - Distinguish between both its important to show players the difference - Tactical - first touch in to space

warmup: players with a ball look to dribble into space then pass and move to a player without a ball when the coach says go the player without the ball must close down the player with the ball (get touch tight) and shadow the player with the ball)

warm up progression (10 mins)

Blue is dribbling to the opposite side (using their laces keeping the ball close head up)

Dont have to dribble in a straight line nice sharp turn and dribble back may have to change speed

Red is first touch away from feet looking to carry the ball across to the waiting player
