Organization:
- 4 lines at the top of the box
- Central player plays to opposite wide player who drives at the near post endline drawing keeper to the near post
- Wide player can either finish near post but most of the time should be slotting ball to the player making a bent run to the slot
- Alternate sides played to, rotate through the lines
- Start 2v0, progress to 2v1 and 3v2 if desired
*Timing of arrival, angle of approach
*Drive with spead, draw keeper
Adjustments:
- Can have defenders start at the top of the box as recovering players

- players rotate from A to B and from C to D, the two CFWDs remain and can be swapped out if desired
- can add in defenders in the box to defend crosses
*make movement and communication realistic, play passes with pace, play teammate into next pass
*player D cuts ball against the grain before final ball
*runs need to get to near post, far post, and slot (penalty spot)
*serve balls low or on the ground

- same as last time except ACM now receives layoff from OFWD and plays in OB
- rotations remain the same
*make sure we are playing at angles and there are no square passes
- you can give them 10 balls and a target for number of goals, chances on frame, ect...

- rotations are A to B back to A, C to D back to C
- add a defender out wide who is live when C gets ball going forward
- double pass (OB & DCM), play into ACM, layoff to DCM, play into CFWD, layoff to OB coming central to create a 2v1 with OFWD
- give OB decision in the 2v1 to penentrate central, combine with OFWD, or play OFWD in behind

- Reds play to big goal, Blues play to counter goals or back to coach
- can add in offsides line to encourage getting behind backs
*can we use the ideas from passing patterns and put them into this activity
*play in OBs when possible to get behind backs or create 2v1 opportunities
*can give 10 balls and make target for attacking team and defending team for goals, shots, and shots on goal according to level
