This is the second session of passing week. Players now have a better understanding of passing receiving and moving. We are increasing the level of difficulty for the players.

Organization:
1.10 x 30 yard area with 2 x 5 yard area either end, set up as shown
2.Players work in teams
3.One ball per team
Instructions:
Players must look to drive the ball into their partner’s area.Their partner must attempt to control the ball without leaving their area. If the ball lands in the box, the player that hit the driven ball gets a point
If the receiver can control the ball inside the box with 1 touch, they also receive a point
Coaching Points:
Heel down, toe up
Quality of first touch
Ankle locked, foot and knee opened to the ball
Align yourself with the ball
Progressions:
1.P – Increase service distance
2.P – Reduce controlling area
3.R – Reduce service distance

Organization:
40x30 area set up as shown (7 triangles set up) 15 players, 8 players with balls. 7 players start inside the triangles without a ball, ready to receive.
Instructions:
Players dribbling around the area try to pass the ball into a player waiting in the triangle, then take their place as the player inside the triangle. Receiving player attempts to receive with the inside of the foot and leave through the other side of the triangle.If a player's pass does not go into the triangle, the player must retrieve the ball and keep playing.
Coaching Points:
Inside fo the foot to pass and receive
Ankle locked, foot and knee opened to the ball
Head up to observe your open teammate
Receiving players must call for the ball
Do not play a pass to a player who is not looking at you (eye contact)
Progressions:
*Points individual for tosses. Points for teams
1. First start with throwing the ball
2. Points for each successful pass
3. Recieving one side play out another side
4. Add semi-opposed pressure when leaving the triangle for recieving player
5. Add fully-opposed pressure following pass if ball is stolen before they leave the triangle the player recieves a point
6. Add defenders (4) 'it' players. If player's ball goes out of bounds or is stolen, that player becomes 'it' player safe inside triangle

Organization:
In a 20x25 grid, have players stand on the outside (Depending on numbers) and have a group going through the grid. The players on the outside will have the balls
Instructions:
The outside players will have the ball and try to pass the ball to hit a moving target. If they hit a target they get a point. After the pass is made the passing players retrieves his/her ball and tries again if they are any strangling players left if not the activity restarts. Do reps of 4 rest for each group. This should take about 30 to 45 secs. Have about a 15-20 rest for the players running through the middle
Coaching Points:
-Passing accuracy
-Passing weight (Will it reach the moving player)
-Passing technique such as toe up heal down
-chest over the ball to have the ball down
-locked ankle
