Description: Reds play to goal on edge of 18. May only play the 9 if in the attacking half. 9 is one one touch. Otherwise, must connect up the field before playing him. Must be a one time pass. 9 being high and alone will force pressure on the ball in the middle third, goal on the 18 should stop long chipped balls into open 9 as goalkeeper can sweep behind. Greens may drop into the bottom area IF a 2nd red runs in. Continues if a 3rd and 4th move in.
Coaching points: Greens work to press high, sacrificing deeper solidarity at the back. However, if press is penetrated, group works to become a middle block to deny time and space on the ball, PARTICULARLY in the attackig half
If it becomes too easy to play first time pass into the 9 for red, ban first time balls into the 9

Phase 1
Description: Reds start with the ball, play towards mini goals. Reds scoring is worth 3 points while green scoring is worth 1. Greens should try to win the ball high while also knowing that conceding a goal is a killer. Greens send the 8/10 depending on which side the first entry ball is played to. 2/3 for green may activate at any time of their choosing, but when they do, the matching 7/11 also activates.
Coaching points: Stay high and force the error in the final 1/3. If the press is broken, they should become a middle 1/3 block and deny penetration to any of the 5 goals to force them back into the final third and re-establish a higher press. Allow red CB's to bring ball past the 18.
