-  4v2 rondo's.

- Outside players have to pass the ball through the red square and avoid the defenders.

- A miss-placed pass, loss possession of the ball will result of that player changing place with a defender.

Coaching Points

- Weight and accuracy of pass.

- Inside/outside/sole parts of the foot to pass the ball.

- Positive first touch.

- Increase defenders

Main Activity

 - 3 v 3, 2 players in the middle and 1 from each team in the end/target zones.

- Players in the middle have a target to get the ball into their partner in the end zone.

- As soon as the ball gets to their partner in the end/target zone then they change over with a player in the middle.

- The idea of having small teams for the first part is I want to expose the players to the ball more so they have more chance of developing.

Coaching Points

- Awareness

- Weight + Accuracy of the pass

- Movement on/off the ball.

Questions to ask players:

1. Can my team mate pass the ball to me? Yes or No

2. Can  get into a position where I can receive the ball?

After question 2 go back to question one. 

Progressions

 - Maximum touches 

- Go full size and have 5 v 5 1 player from each team in a target zone.

- Challenges such as: certain amount of passes, amount of passes = the amount of goals, every player must touch the ball etc.

- Players must make 3 passes before they can score in any of the 4 goals.

- Movement on/off the ball.

- Small goals hel with accuracy.

1. Can my team mate pass the ball to me? Yes or No

2. Can get into a position where I can receive the ball?

Progressions

- Add second ball in.

- Make uneven teams 7 v 5 etc.

- Maximum touches.

- Can only score in certain goals.
