Organisation:
- 1 player 1 ball, players must dribble around the playing area and repeat ball movements in the various boxes
- In the corner boxes encourage quick, short movements e.g toe taps, boxes, drags and rolls
- Coach can be creative with corner movements, ball movements can be performed with both hands and feet.
- When crossing through the middle box players should use an explosive change of speed or direction to cross through quickly whilst avoiding other players
- implement rest cycles every minute by asking players to juggle their ball for 20 seconds
Coach decides next progression(s):
A) Vary the movements on the outside
B) Telephone tag - Boxes become scoring areas, add defenders who try to steal balls and dribble into a telephone box to score. Players with balls must use dribbling skills to evade the defenders.
Coaching Points
- head up when dribbling
- dribbling technique using laces
- react based on whats happening around you; change direction, change of speed to avoid others

Objectives:
- take objective of dribbling to maintain possession into match phase
Organization:
- 2 goal game (2 goals on each side)
- set players into 3v3
- allow free play, stop to highlight good passages of play to re-enforce coaching points
- Coach can choose to add regression/progression if necessary
Regression (level is low)
Players match up with a player from the opposite team, during the match you are only allowed to tackle the player you are matched with, therefore creating 1v1 situations in the pitch.
Progression (level is high)
Players can only score after each player has touched the ball

Organisation:
- In the playing area setup 4x4 boxes, 1 in the middle and 1 in each corner
- players must move around the playing area and perform dynamic movements in the various corner boxes:
Ladder work (If no ladders use cones) - Coach can choose movements
Hurdles (If no ladders use balls to jump over)
Cones (Players shimmy through forwards or backwards)
Balls (Players use different touches such as ball boxes or toe taps)
- In the corner boxes encourage quick, short movements
- When finished at a corner box players then cross through the middle box and choose another corner. Players should use an explosive change of speed or direction to cross through quickly whilst avoiding other players
