Organization:
- 40 x 40 yard area setup as shown
- 12 players (6 A ttackers,6 Targets)
- 6 Balls
- 12 + cones (These are placed randomly around the area to make minigates to pass the ballthrough)
Instructions:
- Players are paired together one attacker one target player
- Players move around the area in their pairs
- Once the pair reaches a gate,the attacker must pass to their target player through the gate
- After the ball has been received through the gate, the pair switches roles and find another gate to play through
- Players keep count of the gates the ball is passed through
Coaching Points:
- Head up, observe your target
- Weight and accuracy of pass
- Heel down, toe up, inside push pass
- Make contact with the middle of the ball
Progressions:
- Players have to get through two gates for one point
- Limit to two touch so that the players have to continue to pass moving to the gates
- Switch Partner after pass through a gate

Organization:
- Split field into halves or quaters. 20X20 yards
- 8 - 12 players on each field
- 2 players go at the same time for a 2v2 game
Instructions:
-Defending team passes the ball to the attacking team. two attackers and two defenders go out for a - 2v2 game for 30 seconds or a goal
If defenders wins the ball they are allowed to score
Coaching Points:
- pass when teammate is open dribble when teammate is not
- accuracy of passes
- attacker should use proper technique to receive ball before starting dribble
Progressions:
- Players must make 2,3 passes before scoring
- Players can only make forward passes

Organization:
- 8 players playing 4V4 set up as shown
- 20X20 yard playing area
- Score a point by knocking a ball off the cone with a pass
- Coach becomes referee
Instructions:
- Players play 4v4 as in a regular scrimmage
- Rather than goals, players are looking to pass and knock a ball off the cone
- First team to knock all three balls off wins
- Players are encouraged to pass throughout the scrimmage
Coaching Points:
- Head up to observe target
- Player should communicate to teammates when he/she is open
- Execute an inside push pass: using inside surface of foot, heel down, toe up, make contact with the middle of the ball
- Weight and accuracy of pass

Hit The Ball off the Cone
Organization:
- Line of 3 cones 10yds apart
- 2 players with 2 soccer balls
- 1 ball is placed in the center on top of the cone
- 2nd ball starts with player on the side
Instructions:
- 2 players will play against each other and try to knock the ball off the center cone with a pass.
- Player 1 will start the game and try first. If the player knocks the ball off, he gets a point.
- Then the player places the ball back on the center cone and player 2 attempts.
- Play for 2 minutes. Make it Tournament style: Player who won moves up a game towards the top; and player who lost moves down a game)
Coaching Points:
- Non-kicking foot placed on the side of the ball pointing at the target
- Head up observe target
- Working on inside-push pass: use iside surface of kicking foot, heel down, toe up
- Strike through the middle of the ball
- Follow through the pass to target with passing foot
- Weight and accuracy of Pass
Progressions:
- Create a longer distance to pass
- Force players to take a first touch into space before passing
