Description

Objectives:

1. Movement patterns when the GK has the ball.

2. Understand movement and rotation between midfielders (3 and 4 player midfield).

Skill Phase (15 mins)

Set Up

Area is 40 x 30 yards with End Zones 10 yards deep at each end. There is a goal at each end of the area.

Rules and Conditions

In the two End Zones, there are 2 Red Players, a GK and 1 Blue player.

In the middle area there are 3 Reds, 4 Blues and 1 Neutral player.

Players are not allowed to leave their areas.

The red team are to try and maintain possession (can use GK's). the Blue team are to try and win the ball. If the Blue team win the ball they can score in either goal.

If the ball goes out of bounds, GK will start with the ball.
