Technical Warm-Up (10 mins)
Organization: 30x30. One ball per player.
Instructions: Following ball mastery and juggling, players dribble their ball in area. Perform various actions on coach's command (e.g. v move, roll, outside, inside, etc)
Coaching Points:
Head up to observe space.
Close ball control - pinky toe dribbling (Messi)
Space available - run with the ball/instep (Ronaldo)
Selection of surface
Progressions: 1) Weaker foot. 2) End with "King of the Ring" game.

Main Theme 1 (15 mins)
Organization: 30x30 area. 15yds to cone.
Instructions: Players dribble to cone in pairs. Perform different moves: V-move, feint and roll
Coaching Points:
Head up to observe space/pressure.
Keep ball close.
Perform move just outside tackling radius.
Execution of technique.
Play at speed.
Accelerate away.
Progressions: Use both feet. Competition: who can finish first.

1v1 Duels (15 mins)
Organization: Set up as shown. 45x30 split into 3 15x10 areas with 5yd neutral zone.
Instructions: First player from attacking line dribbles out. Defender is live on first touch. Players go 1v1 to goal. Defender cannot challenge for ball in neutral zone. Rotate roles.
Coaching Points:
Quality and direction of first touch.
Attack at speed.
Attacker defender's front foot.
Look to cut into space behind defender.
Accelarate into open space.
Progression: 1) Defender can counter by dribbling across line after winning possession. 2) Remove neutral zone.

Conditioned Game (10 mins)
Organization: Set up two stations to accomodate all 16 players. 30x20. Two teams of four.
Instructions: Teams play to goal. Players are not allowed to pass forward, only square or backward. Players can penetrate via shot or dribble. Dribble in on restarts.
Coaching Points:
Look to get forward.
Recognize and attack space.
Exploit 1v1 situations.
If outnumbered, look for teammate with advantage.
Progressions: Remove conditions to end with 4v4 free play.
