Adaptations:
- Make it directional and add a scoring zone and goal at one of the sides for the attacking team to break into to try and score.
- Increase number of defenders with less bounce players.

Phase of Play
This session can either start with the goalkeeper which can initiate a transitional moment or by the mini goals. The attacking team will then try to break down the defensive unit and try to score. The defensive unit will look to be compact and win the ball back and if they succeed they will then try to break into the midfield zone and score into the mini goals.
Adaptations
- Make the attacking team attack underloaded
- Time limit. Can players react to different game states and learn how to attack depending on the scenario given.
Key Points:
- Move the opposition. Patience or quick combinations?
- Forward first mentality. (Pass forward, run forward).
- Angles of support.
- Body position to receive.
- Spatial occupation (Cover all zones).
- Counterpress on loss of football.

Small Sided Game:
Game to finish the session with.
Key Points
- Try and apply everything we have been through during the session.
- Attack the opposition box with at least 3 players in there.
- Freedom.
- Enjoy.

Warm Up
This is a simple warm up with players on the outside and 2 players in the middle. The players on the inside work for 1 minute at high intensity looking to receive the ball and combine with the other central player before playing back to the outside.
Adaptations:
- Add a defender.
- Remove combination in central zone.
Key Points:
- High tempo.
- Quick combos.
- Body position to receive and body position to play the out pass.
- Angles of support.
