THE SESSION:
Player A starts the practice, plays into B who has made a movement to receive on his back foot. A presses immediately after passing (no tackling) B performs side move to get away from A and plays diagonally to C who looks to beat D and score in the shaded area.
Practice repeats and players change roles.

coaches at either side touch line with balls.
1. coach announces which attacker will be receiving ball and plays to him/her
2. defenders must sprint around 2nd cone before defending 3v2.
3. Attackers look for point with goal, defenders look for point by gaining possession and playing to either coach.

THE SESSION:
1v1 + winger.
Players play 1v1 to goal.
Can they play to either winger who then delivers a cross into the box fro striker.
He can play to either winger.
If defender wins the ball, he can immediately counter using the other winger who was not used.

THE SESSION:
GAME THAT EXPOSES THE PLAYERS TO COUNTER ATTACKING OPPORTUNITYS TIME AND AGAIN. INCLUDING FULL LENGTH COUNTERS FROM KEEPER AS THEY START THE PRACTICE AFTER A GOAL
SSG, when attacking team score two oppostion players must run around manniquins on outside before they can be live again. When they score the attacking team switch their point of attack and attack opposite goal and use there overload to their advantage. GKs need to be switched on to play early for counter attack to be successful.
KEY POINTS:
-Light Switch (what do we do when we win the ball back?)
-Can we play forward quickly with quality
-Flood the Pitch (support play in numbers ), how?
-Start a better attack? (if path to goal is blocked by defenders can we start again)

Skills with Movement:
Split players into 2 groups
One group is outside the circle with the ball and the other team starts inside the circle.
The coach will tell the players inside the circle what they will be working on.
Volleys with Laces, Volleys with instep, Thigh Volley, 1 touch pass, 2 touch pass, turns, etc
The cylce goes for 1 minute with players in the center resetting there each time before finding a new partner.
Coaches encourage game speed approaching the player serving the ball and recovery speed as the check back to the middle.
