Organization:
20x30 yard area
Players in groups of 3s
Instructions:
- Players work throughout the area passing and moving
- Must look to combine (give/go, double pass, etc.)
- Players must also be aware of other groups working within the same area
Coaching Points:
- Head up to find teammates
- Movement off the ball to provide angle of support (before and after pass)
- Weight of pass
- Pass to proper foot
Progressions:
- One team without the ball become defending team, play for "x", team without ball loses.

Organization:
40x50 yard area
6v6 as above
5 cones with 3 balls on top
Instructions:
- Players play regular 5v5 match inside the area with a target striker in behind.
- Players must look to penetrate into striker who can score from behind by knocking a ball off a cone, or they can look to strike a ball off the cone directly. Possession can be kept if striker plays back to teammate in the field.
- If you knock a ball off, you bring it back to your side of the field.
- Team to get all 6 balls, or with the most balls, after game (set time) wins.
Coaching Points:
- Look for penetrating pass
- Movement without the ball
- Receive ball/body shape to open up or switch point of attack
- Connection and communication with teammates
- Speed of play (1 or 2-touch)

Organization:
30x40 yard area
3 teams of 3 (or 4 depending on #s)
Instructions:
- Two teams will work together as attackers trying to work the ball from one endzone to the other to score.
- If the defending team wins the ball, the player/team that turned it over takes a knee; this will indicate the two standing teams are now the attackers against the new defending team.
- Play 5 minute games.
Coaching Points:
- Transition from end to end
- Speed of play (playing the pass when you see it)
- Can you find the pass through the window(s)
- Can we create bigger windows to make passes easier
- Passing to the correct foot to open up play and field
- Weight and angle of pass to teammates
- Keeping team shape

2 fields, 3v3
Instructions:
Players split up into 4 teams and play a round robin tournament where all teams play.
Coaching Points:
- 3 Lines of attack, Defender, Midfield, Striker (rotate players
-Create as much space for player in possession
-Try to create a triangle at all to give good angle of support.
-Look to gaps to attack using Messi touches
-First thought is to go forward then if nothing is on, play back to start again.
