Set -up
20X20 grid with numerous coloured gates spread around the field.
Organization
Triangle Dribble
Players move around the grid. Lots of progressions
1 - not allowed ina triangle
2 - in the triangle out a different side - freeze with toe touches
3 - drag back turn in a triangle
Progression
one team defend another - stop them going through triangles

1 v 1
Organisation: - Set up a 20 x 15 grid as such with a 2 x 2 square in the middle. - To begin with, each player has a ball.
Instruction:1. Unopposed
- Opposite players run into the 2 x 2 grid with the ball, make a skill move either left or right and accelerate through the diagonal right or left cone. - Join the opposite line and continue until coach is satisfied.
2. Semi- Opposed - One team acts as a passive defender. - The passive defender is allowed to put pressure on the ball carrier within the 2x2 square, however cannot leave this area. - The players join their own line again and continue for 4-5 turns before swapping over.
Step Up- The player in the middle is allowed to try and tackle the player once they leave the area. - Add in a extra passive defender on the sides. The player with the ball must beat them again before running through the gate.

-area approx. 20x15 yards
On coaches signal players race to the middle, high five, then back pedal backwards to starting cone - first player to do so receives the pass from the coach and attacks opponent 1v1.

Small sided scrimmage games. Split into teams of 3 or 4 - keep track of scores and roatte teams around so they play different teams every 2-3 minutes

Warm-Up and Introduction (20 mins)
SET-UP
Area is set up with a 30 yard width and length can vary by the number of players you have in your session. (e.g. 15 players = 5 x 10 yard areas - 50 yards)
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER FOCUS
Speed - Dribbling Skills - Running with the ball - Changing Speed
TEAM DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
Recognize when to dribble tight & close and when to RTWB (Run with the ball) - Develop speeds to combine and utilize space
KEY TRAINING POINTS FOCUS
1. Develop changes of speed, as well as the correct and excellent techniques of dribbling with close control and running with the ball - heavier, controlled touches
2. Ensure all players are communicating on and off the ball to each other
3. Identify differences in touches in various situations
PROCESS FOCUS
1 = A Dribble to end player and stop the ball
2 = Run around the player
3 = End player lays the ball off the dribbling player
4 = Run with the ball (teach variability of touches)
5 and 6 = Repeat process at opposite end
**Switch roles after 2 minutes**
KEY FOCUS
Look for quality of technique as players tire or lose focus
PROGRESSION FOCUS
Middle player recieves ball from end player to begin their exercise - Have to use a turn
