The session works on positional awareness to receive and deliver passes between lines.

Two defenders are placed on two lines with the instruction to not move off of the line. However, defeneders can move side to side.
An attacket brings the ball onto the field of play and then tries to connect with his team mate in the advanced square with a pass.
The forward attacker will receive the ball, turn and attempt to dribble past the last defender using creativity.

Defenders (blue) are positioned on a midfield line and defensive line.
Defenders must stay on their lines, but are able to move side to side along the line.
Attacking team (red) attack with two players. The objective is to get the ball to either of the two forwards positioned between the two defending lines.
Once the ball has been received by one of the advanced attacking players he/she can turn and try to dribble past the end line and defenders.

Two teams play 9 v 9 scrimmage to end.
There are designated areas for the forwards of both teams to move and receive the ball safely. Once the forwards receive the ball they can attack the goal.
Defenders and midfieldes are restricted to their areas. Defenders must look to play to midfielders, but can by pass them to the forwards if the opportunity arises and the game allows the more direct approach.

Combining (10 mins)
The session starts with players both end of a designated area with a cone or Dummie in the middle of the field.
The first player passes a ball into the opposite area to comibine with an incoming team mate. The team mate in turns plays the ball into the opposite area for another incoming team mate.
Players run to the opposite line after passing the ball.
Players are encouraged to think about passing lanes and angles to receive the pass.
Communication from players is important to successfully combine.
