Quick dribbling using the Outside of the Foot
In this exercise, the players run with the ball pushing it quickly with the outside of the foot only. The exercise helps the act of dribbling and changes of direction. Emphasize the extension of the foot with the tip pointing down.
Emphasis
Focus on using both the outside of both feet.

Speed, moves, 1v1, Passing and Receiving
Purpose
To improve Change of Direction moves and speed with limited pressure defending
Set up
Depending on numbers, set up two fields, this way keeps players focused.
Two teams form lines opposite one another in a 10 x 10-meter areas. Four 3 yard gate goals are placed on the perimeter of the area.

Instructions
1v1 play begins with a pass from the defender. Defender provides limited pressure to close down space, and the attackers must use Change of Direction Moves - single and combinations, remind players of their Moves of the Week. The attackers must dribble through one of the small goals to score.
Progression
Coaches can instruct players to use specific move sets and to use their creativity. Encourage players to use different goals on each attempt.
Players Tips:
When receiving the attacker's first touch should be directed away from the pressure. Use the body to protect the ball from pressure. Use of speed after a move is critical.

Small-Sided Games 2v2 3v3
Ensure coaches have plenty of soccer balls on hand to maintain the tempo of the game
Rotate to ensure all players play in 2v2 and 3v3 game situation
Set-Up
Set up two fields 20m x 15 m with goals at each end.

This is a free game which should stimulate expression, initiative and the creativity of the players.
Encourage the players to take each other on and run into space to score.
The aim is to develop their technique and individual tactical play

Organization

Activity
-Split group in half to make 2 teams and line up either side of the area. 1 team is the "builders", 1 team the "bashers". On coaches signal, builders team have to run and turn as many cones (one at a time) the right way up. The bashers have turn as many upside down. On coaches second signal, teams must race back to the start line for a bonus point. Team with the most cones their way wins that round. Play multiple times.
