Hockey Session (Under 10s): Touch Ts

• In groups of 4
• One in the middle two balls on the outside
• Pass from outside into player in the middle
• middle player passes to outside player without a ball
• Ball cannot go back to the player who made the initial pass
• Players rotate through the middle until each player has had a go

• Each player takes 1 minute (or 2 mins?) in the middle.
• Other players (or coach) score the middle player in the following way:
• 1pt for miss trap (loose control)
• 1pt for a pass without left foot pointing in the direction of the pass
• 1pt for bobbing up and down.

• Use first touch to plan ahead
• Scan for the next passing option
• Stay low between passes (no bobbing up and down), keep stick close to the ground.
• Point left foot in direction of pass and step through the push to get weight transfer.
