THE SESSION: Space Invaders
Set Up: 16x16
Four players start with a football each as a catchers
The rest of the players start in the safe zone wearing a bib
The catchers have to catch the players by passing the football and hit the player in the foot
The players have to run around trying to avoid being hit and get three seconds in the safe zone
If a player gets hit, he takes his bib off and gets a ball, becoming a catcher
The last player left is the winner

THE SESSION: Accy Possession
Set Up: 12x16 x 3
Three/four players in each box and one ball in each box
Defenders in pairs at the start line
All players in the box pass and move around the area
On the coaches call the first two players sprint into the first box and try to win the ball
Once they win the ball in box one they sprint into box two and so on until they leave the area
Time the pairs to see which pair get through the boxers the quickest

THE SESSION: Attacking Transitions
Set Up:20x30
The game starts with blues attacking 2v1
Once every attack finishes, the defending team gains two players
The team who have just attacked must now defend outnumbered
2v1, 2v3, 4v3, restart
Progressions:
Start 1v1, if you score goal or deny goal you gain the extra player
Key Messages:
Attack at pace, don't wait for defenders to get set
Movement between, attacking players, don't run in straight lines
Defenders work on four Ds - Delay, Deny, Deflect, Destroy
Competitions/Challenges:
Winning team starts the next game as overloading team

THE SESSION: 3v2 into 1v1
Set Up: 30x30
Red team attack 3v2+GK
Red attack main goal whilst blues defend
If blues win ball back they attack other goal 2v3
One ball is out of play two reds go into either side zone to defend whilst the blues receive a ball from the coach and attack mini goals 1v1
Key Messages:
Once ball is out of play blues receive ball quickly to expose space
Reds must recover around the pole before defending 1v1
Blue defenders deflect, deny, delay, destroy
Challenges:
If defenders keep a cleansheet and score in 1v1 they will gain two goals instead of one

THE SESSION: 5v5+5
Set Up: 30x40
Three teams of five. Reds v Blue on the field with the blacks on the outside (one in the middle)
Two touch all players on the inside
Player who regains possession has three touches
Players onside have one touch
Neutral in the middle has three touches
2 minutes games

One player behind each goal with a ball in their hands and the rest of the players in a line
Players run towards the goal and volley the ball thrown from behind the goal
Full volley = two points
Half volley = one point
Player who volleys the ball then becomes the thrower
