Objectives:
- Running and Change of Speed / Direction
- Ball Skills
Warm Up Clock - Organisation(1):
- Similar setup as last week - Set players in a circle, 1 player & ball at 1 cone
- Bib each player - E.g Blue or Yellow
- Start with blue team. Blue players move towards the middle box with their balls using different skills (rolls, taps, boxes going forwards or backwards). Once they reach the middle box turn and dribble back to their starting cone and next group (yellow) goes.
- Resting group can perform stationary movements or juggles while they wait for the team to finish
- Change movement with the ball every 2-3 repetitions
Progression
- Coach should have a 'magic number/word/colour to maintain interest'. For example if coach shouts "3" all players (blue and yellow) move into the middle box, swap balls and run back
Progression B (3)
- 1 player 1 ball, start on cone as before
- When coach calls your colour / colours players have to run through and out the box and find a free cone
- Players compete in their teams to be the fastest to run through the box and find a free cone. Winning team gets one point.

1v1 / 2v2 - Dribbling / RWB
Organisation
- Split group up into 2 teams (Should be still bibbed from previous exercise)
- Teams line up either side of their area
- Assign each team a pile of cones (different colors) that they scatter infront of their starting positions
- Team plays rock, paper, scissors to decide who is attacking team and who is defending team
- Attacking team has to dribble their ball into the opposing teams area, if they do this succesfully they can steal a cone and take it back. Once the cone is stolen that player is safe to take it back.
- Defending player has to tackle the players ball, if they do this succesfully they have a chance to run into the opposing teams area and steal a cone OR take back one of their own.
- Continue until all balls are out. Next players in line then start.
- Teams with most cones of their colour in their box at the end of the round are the winners.
Progression:
- Coach can progress to 2v2 if players are succesful
Regression:
Coach can assign the defending teams balls, defending team has to carry and hit the players ball

Organization:
- 2 Pitches
- 3v3 or 4v4 match phase
- GK's can move in and out the game to create an extra player and therefore extra passing options
For example, if yellow team have the ball the yellow GK moves out and creates a numerical advantage, the blue GK has to retreat. When blue team have possession the blue GK comes out to support and the yellow GK retreats back to goal.
