POSSESSION PRACTICE - simple possession based practice in which coach can promote and observe various football related aspects i.e control/passing, transition work & decision making etc , game rules are simply that you have a 4v4 in central area 30x20 overall 30x40 and 4 player on outside area, wider players move legnth area - objectives for players are to maintain possession and score a goal by a player within the area passing to opposite outside player, 4 passes and can transfer over.
main drill is keeping possesion, creating 7v4 then switching over, and getting a transition of moving over.
3 x 4 minute games, rotating the 3 teams.
CONDITIONS :
1 must complete 4 passes before passing can transfer
KEY POINTS :
1 correct technical levels employed.
2 concentration.
3 high work ethic.
