Warm-up's (10 mins)

1/3 of the Field:

• Middle 1/3

Principles of Play:

• winning ball back
• Once a player in the middle wins the ball, they attack to the outside and the player who loses the ball replaces them.
• defensive movement
• movement off ball
• quick passing

Organization:

• 4 outside and 2 inside

Key factors:

• Defend to attack in warm-ups

Learning Outcomes:

• winning the possession and attacking.

Expanded Middle third

The phase of Play:

• Expanded def to attacking

1/3 of the Field:

• Middle 1/3

Principles of Play:

• Defending
• Winning possession
• Attacking
• All players must remain in their zones
• When the defense wins possession, a 4th player joins the attack from the outside zone. 
• Team on ball must pass into the outside zone of direction to their teammate and that player must finish in either goal. 
• If the defending team wins possession that team now gains a 4th player from the outside zone and the defending teams 4th player now retreats to their original outside zone position.

• Defensive positioning and movement
• winning possession, ball

• Quick counter attack in the middle 1/3
• taking away angles on defense
• keeping defensive shape on defense
• defensive movement.
