Organization:
1. Activity should take place within the 18 yard box/keeper box of the 5v5 field
2. One ball per player
Instructions:
1. Players will sit on the ground, bottom on the ground with both feet flat.
2. Coach will demonstrate how to use their laces to keep the ball up.
3. Players should try to catch the ball after each contact with their laces.
4. Players will continue for 2 minutes, trying to see how many successful times they can complete.
5. Players will then switch and use their other foot.
Coaching Points:
1. Ankle locked, flat foot/point the toe
2. Do not flex foot
3. Body weight forward, do not lean back
4. Look to hit the ball on the down bounce not up bounce
Progressions:
1. Left foot (2 minutes)
2. Right foot, left foot, catch (2 minutes)

Organization:
1. One goal
2. One ball per player with additional if needed
3. Split players into two teams
4. Four cones to dribble through, with 3 additional cones to function as gates
5. Gate should be no closer than 6 yards from goal, set up rest of grid accordingly
Instructions:
1. The first player in each line will dribble through the cones with their right foot and shoot before the gate.
2. Once the player has shot, the next player in line can begin.
3. Rotation will continue for 2 minutes, each goal scored will count as one point for the team. Team with the most points wins.
4. Two rounds shooting with right foot then switch to left foot.
5. Give a specific coaching point between each round for the players to focus on
Coaching Points:
1. Angle of approach – off center
2. Head up to observe the goal
3. Head down at the point of contact
4. Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball
5. Ankle locked, toe down
6. Contact ball – will vary depending on target area
7. Contact foot – laces (instep)
8. Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact
9. Follow through landing on striking foot
Progression(s):
1. Must use both feet when dribbling
2. Can only dribble one specific foot
3. Can only dribble with specific surface of foot

Organization:
1. Activity should be played within the half. Dots are used to mark the kick off (yellow) and goal kicks (yellow). Tall oranges cones to be used as goals.
2. Three teams of 4 players
3. Two teams play while one team sits. No more than 5v5 - should always play 4v4 if possible. Can also play 3v3.
4. One ball
5. Games last 3 mins
Instructions:
1. Two teams play, trying to score a goal by dribbling through the two orange cones. Players will also get a point for doing one of the moves learned at sessions successfully.
2. Once the time has expired, one team gets water while the sitting team steps on to the field of play.
3. Continue rotation of teams sitting vs playing until session is complete.

Organization:

1. Players juggle the ball using different surfaces dictated by the coach
2. Rotation
a. Thighs Only - thigh, catch, thigh catch. One point each time they catch the ball. Two thighs in a row equals three points.
b. Feet only - bounce, laces, catch. One point each time they catch the ball. Two laces in a row equals three points.
c. Combination - thigh, bounce, laces, catch. One point each time they catch the ball. No bounce equals three points.
3. Each round is 2 mins long
