Space (10 mins)
Organization: Multiple areas for maximum repetition.
Instructions: Blue players are trying to score in small goals. Red player is trying to score in big goal. Blue player passes the ball in to red player. Players are allowed to move around the red & yellow rectangles freely, but if blue can connect an assist from the yellow rectangle into the red rectangle, it is worth double. If the red player gains possession of the ball, they get one point, if they can score into the goal, they get 3 points.
Coaching Points/Questions: Technique, passing/receiving the ball. Pulling the defender one way to creat space in another part of the field. How do you pull/bait a defender?
Regressions/Progressions:
P: 2 defenders.
R: larger playing space.

Organization: 45 V 30 yd box. 4v4+2
Instructions: Both teams try to score, Red team goes to big goal. Blue team goes to small goals. If either team can make 5 passes within the box of cones in the middle of the field before scoring, the goal is worth two points. Black players are neutral, goalkeeper is with blue.
Coaching Points/Questions: Spread/Compact. Pressure/cover. When to maintain/switch position.
Regressions/Progressions:
R - 3 passes
P- If 5 passes are completed achieved their team can break free from the box & go to goal. Red team goes to big goal. Blue team goes to small goals.
P - If shot is made on a one touch, it's worth double.
