Decision Making- Make sure when you receive pass the first thought is a forward pass. If not forward pass, then just be patient and keep the ball.
Accuracy- make sure you find a teammate with your pass and ensure the passes penetrate in the attacking third.
Weight of Pass- Make sure the pass is easy for your teammate to control and is the correct speed.

Session Explanation
Players pass around outside of cones, following the ball each time they pass.Look for no mistakes.
Progression
Change direction and work opposite feet.
Introduce two balls- don't let the ball catch you.
Combination- group with two players start- Player 1 passes, player 2 receving sets pass back to player 1,player 1 hits diagonal pass to player 3.Player 3 passes to player 4 who sets for them to play diagnal to player 1. Follow pass

Session Explanation
To begin players just pass and move around their area, making angles and creating space to receive passes. Once you pass you have to move.
Progression
Each player in a team is given a number 1 to 4. The Coach calls out a number that player must move to the next square (clockwise) to become a defender – 3v1
The team that can possess their ball the longest wins the point. The first team to five points is the winner.
Restrict number of touches to two touch. Then try one touch.
Progress to 4 v 2- Two players from a colour team I shout out goes into each grid to create a 4 v 2.

Session Explanation
Players have to make atleast 5 passes before they can score a goal. They can use any of the neutral players on the outside. Neutral players are allowed a maximum of two tocuhes.
3 minute games- Whoever scores the most goals win.
Progression
Move the two wide players behind the goal also. To score a goal you must be set by one of the neutral players by the side of the goal. Can only use neutral players from the goal you're attacking.

Session Explanation
Two touch to begin. Players pass and receive the ball to each other. When I blow my whistle they swap positions.
Have 1 minute break between each set to do dynamic stretching
Progression
Player standing in the middle of the gate must pass the ball and side step to the right cone, receive pass in the middle, before side stepping to left.
Player receives the ball and driibles round the cone to the right before passing back. Then to the left,
Players numbered 1,2,3,4- Players do 10 one touch passes and then move to the left to do another 10 until they get back to the start. High intensity.
