Organization:
1. Set up as shown (36x28yds)
2. 13 players.
3. Two goals.
TWO intervals of 3 minutes (30 sec rest)
Instructions:
1. Grid is split into three small zones. Players play 6v5+2 neutral wide players. White looks to win possession of the ball.
2. #6,#8 move into central pockets. They must each shown in a different central zone.
3. Purple receives points by completing 10 passes/Scoring on small sided goals.
4. When white wins the ball they use the neutrals to connect 5 passes to receive 1 point.
Coaching Points:
1. Sharpness of passes. Lead the player to allow them to play a touch pass (think ahead)
2. Timing of movement from 3 CM's & Ability to create 3 different angles of width and depth (3 lines)
3. Movement off the ball (timing) is vital in one touch play. Create space by checking away from desire receiving area. Ability of players to make 3rd man runs off the bounce pass.
4. Ability to interchange roles to create numerical superiority from player checking in behind defenders view.

1. Purple works on building play through midfield to enter final third.
2. Black looks to defend and score on counter goals.
3. Work on midfield movement/rotation.
4. #7/#11 can check into midfield to receive pass/defender can follow.
5. CM's can drop to split CB's.
Coaching Points:

1. Purple team looks to build attack in back third area.
2. Ball must be played through the #6/#8 to go forward into final third.
3. 7/#11 can go into Middle zone to receive pass (defenders can follow them into this area)
4. Purple team scores on large goal. White team scores on counter goals.
Coaching Points:
1. Patience in ball movement - move opponent 1st.
2. Ability of #6/#8 to rotate movement to become free player.
3. Timing of movement from inverted winger to help overload centrally.
