Description

Block 3

9v9 small sided game.

The pitch is split into thirds.

Both teams will line up in a 3-3-2 formation.

To score a goal, the ball must be played through the thirds.

A pass cannot be played through or over a third, for example a pass from the first third to the final third.

Block 4

Reds now have a challenge to only play from the first third into the final third to score (less likely to spend time attacking, which results in more defending).

A third man run can be made for the reds if they are successful in getting the ball to enter the final third.

The blues still have the same aim of of playing through the first and middle third into the final third.

Manage blue team to focus on getting overloads & to play with width.
