Organization
- 40x35 yards.
- 4 teams of 4.
- 4 lanes.
- 1 soccer ball each.
Instructions
1: Make the pass into the goal.
2: If successful, run and make a line behind your goal.
3: If you miss you return to your line and retry again until successful.
4: The winning team will be the first team to make a line behind their goal.
- On coaches command, the first player from each group places their soccer ball inside the box.
- The player inside the box makes a pass into the goal.
- If successful, the player then runs to the end of the lane and stands behind the small goal.
- The next player will take their turn as soon as the ball goes in the goal.
- If a player misses, they return to their line behind the cone.
- The idea of the game is to get all players to score (one at a time) and to be the first team to stand in a line behind their goal.
Coaching Points
- Angle of approach – center
- Supporting foot is next to the ball pointed at target
- Head up observe your target
- Contact ball - middle
- Contact foot - inside
- Ankle locked with toe pointed up
-Follow through towards target with striking foot remaining open throughout
- Body weight over the ball
- Weight and accuracy of pass
Progressions
- Can only use weaker foot to score.
- Change the distance.
- Change the type of pass.

- 6 v 6 end zone game.
Instructions
- 6 v 6 game with end zones.
- To score, players have to pass the ball to the player in the end zone which they are attacking and stop the ball.
- The game restarts inside the end zone by the defending team after each goal.
Coaching Points
- Creat space.
- Movement when not in possession.
- Communication.
- Aware of pressure and space.
- Link up.
Progressions
- When a goal is scored, the same team then attacks the opposite end zone.

Organization
- 40x35 yards.
- 16 players (4 groups of 4).
- 4 boxes.
Instructions
- In groups of 4, players pass the ball to each other on the move in their box.
- Players can take as many touches as they like.
Coaching Points
- Communication.
- Open body position when receiving.
- Eyes and head up.
- Accuracy of pass.
- Weight of pass.
- Movement to create space to receive.
Progressions
- Limited touches.
- Count to see how many passes are made in 30/45 seconds.
- One ball is to stay in each box. Once each player has made 2 passes in each box, they are to move clockwise to the next box. The quickest team back in their original box wins the game.
- Number each player, the even numbers rotate clockwise and the odd numbers rotate the opposite way.
