Organization:
4v4 in middle box
One player from each team in channel
GK on one end, 2 puggs on opposite end or additional GK if available.
Instructions:
Team must connect two passes in the middle then play out to either channel into wide player.
1v1 in wide areas, player in possession has 1 free touch before they can be defended by opponent.
Wide players are limited to the channels, all other players are limited to the space in between the channels.
The game is completely live at this point i.e. the defending team can win the ball at any time and counter to the two puggs. If the original attacking team regains possession, they can go straight to goal without playing to flanks again if they choose.
Game resets to possession grid after a shot or ball goes out.
Coaching Points:
Use of quick passes to find wide players.
Wide players in a position/ready to receive the ball.
Decision-making to cross,play inside, drive endline, etc.
Tracking:
Coach should be aware of chances created/goals scored from utilizing wide areas.
Regressions:
Create +1/+2 for team in possession.

No free touch for wide players once ball is played out to either of them.

Decision-making to cross, drive/play inside, drive endline, etc.
