Grid:
- Set-up the first set of cones 10-15 feet apart and the 3rd cone 20 feet from the second cone
Session:
- Divide the players into groups of 3-4 players
- The 1st & 2nd players will perform the techincal skill set by the coach. For example: 1 touch passing, 2 touch passing, volley, etc
- On the Coach's start the player 1 & 2 will being the techincal skill as close to game speed as possible. The 3rd player will preform sit-up's, push-up's, jumps, etc.
- Once the Coach says GO the 2nd player turns and sprints to the last cone and back across the end line and becomes Player 3. Player 1 becomes Player 2 and Player 3 becomes player 1.
- The play doesn't not stop. Encourage the players to quickly get the ball moving again.

4 versus 4 possession game with 4 neutral players on the outside
Every 5 passes is a point
After three points or 3 minutes, the losing team switches out and becomes neutral. If 3 minutes is reached, the team that has been in longer switches out.

THE SESSION:
40 x 30 yards
4 cones, 2 goals
PROGRESSIONS:
1. The wide player dribbles to the opposite corner and crosses the ball.
2. The attackers must use realistic movements to get into the box and attempt to score from the cross.
3. Once a cross has been made, a different wide player dribbles straight away in the opposite direction to make a cross on the other goal.
4. Once a shot is taken an attack is launched in the opposite direction.
5. The drill runs continually for a set period of time before the attackers and crossers switch roles.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
The drill encourages wide players to practice crossing the ball using both feet and gives the Forwards practice at finishing crosses.

THE SESSION:
- Set up with 2 teams of approx. 7 players
- Mark out a 12 x 12 area on the edge of the 18yd line and 4 small areas ith a player in each
- Attacking team (Red) start with a cut back cross from square 1 with the striker has 1 touch and finishing on goal.
- Player who crossed follows their pass and then becomes the striker, and then recieves a ball from 2 with therir back to goal, turns and finishes (two touches).
- Every time a striker shoots they then go to the square that they recieved a pass from
- Once all 4 squares have delivered to a stiker, go back to 1 and continue for 3 minutes
- Defending team can catch balls that miss the goal. Every ball caught minuses from the attacking teams total
PROGRESSIONS:
- Defender (Blue) rushes up to put pressure on striker and if wins ball finishes in small goal
- Make sure that every time there is a new striker the defenders swap also

COMPETITION:
- Keep track of score every 3 mins. Loosing team on the line!!
