2v1

Organization: 30x30. Game can be played with mini goals and no GK or with two goals and GK. Equal teams distributed along their goal lines. Have spare balls around to facilitate quick and smooth transitions.

Instructions: Team 1 (white) attacks Team 2 (blue) in a 2v1 situation. After Team 1 finishes or Team 2 wins possession, two blue players join in to create 3v2 game in the opposite direction. Then, two white players create a 4v3. Then two blues create a 5v4. End with 5v5 game. After 5v5 game, restart the entire process with blue team starting a 2v1.

Coaching Points: Play quickly in transition. Look to create numbers up often. Width and depth to unbalance defenders. Runs from weak side to create defensive confusion. Commit 1st defender to pull from teammates. Angles and distance of support.

Progressions: 1) Add time limit to score. 2) Add/remove GK.
