1st Movement (15 mins)
Finishing (Specific Practice) In Possession:
Key Factors:
Finishing Sessions are to be done at match pace intensity, with ample rest in between.
These simple but affective movements in and around th box will create that yard of space to get your shot off.
Shooting sessions from in & around the edge of the box are to help wit basice movemets and helping build confidence for attacking players.
While done at a natch day intensity, can also be used to increase fitness for match day movements.
1 movement to lay off the ball to the server, 1 to create half a yard space, then 1 movement in to the space created to ge your shot off. Changing your runs to use both feet can of course be added.
As scoring goals is a reward in itself, adding in a forfeit for missing the target can help increase
concentration. If the Target is missed, a reaction sprint past the group of shooters can be implemented.
Organisation:
- Use in and around the edge 18 yard box
- 3 Mannequins
- 5-6 Attackers
- 1-2 GK's
- Balls
