Instructions:
Passer plays to Receiver. The receiver sets the ball back for a first time through ball for the wide player to run onto.
Coaching Points:
- Movement of Receiver
- Communication
- Quality of passes/sets
- Movement of wide players to stay on side
- Speed of combination
Progressions:
- Add in defenders (spot A). If they block the through ball play a pass to wide players feet. If they get tight to wide player then play in behind.

Instructions:
4v4 in middle third. Ball must be passed into the endzone for a teammate to run onto. One defender can track run into endzone. Play for 2 mins. Winning team stays on.
Coaching Points:
- Look to play forwards as option one.
- Don't force the pass if not on.
- Timing and shape of run
- Quality (direction, weight, timing, disguise) of pass
- End product
