4 Stations - 1 player works for 1min 30secs, the other rests or assists. (25mins)
1. Ladder work, then dribble between cones. Fast feet, high knees, rhythm.
2. Toe taps in zig-zags between cones and back.
3. Push-Up's.
4. Row-the-boat's.
5. Quick feet between cones backwards, then 1-touch pass.
6. Quick feet between cones forward, then 1-touch pass.
7. Planks.
8. Burpee's.

40x30 Play 6v6 + 4 (20mins)
Organization
6 blue defend against 6 red on the outside, plus 4 yellow (2 midfielders + 2 target men).
Players on outside can move along line. Change neutral players in middle when required.
Once defending team wins possession they switch quickly with other team.
Progression
Limit touches
10 passes = 1 goal.
Goal scored when one of central players only plays a pass. If two central players combine then 2 goals scored.
Central players have to combine before using outside players.
Coaching points
Awareness & decision making, can we penetrate forward?
Pass control (weight, direction).
Communication (visual, verbal).
Movement and support off the ball. Transition sense (attack – defence, defence – attack)
Rule
Don't put the ball at risk! Keep, Keep, Keep until we can penetrate!

Small-Sided Game 8v8 (20mins)
Let them play, but look out for re-inforcement points.
1. Movement off the ball - Looking to play different roles
2. Passing and recieving technique.
3. Work rate and concentration when fatigued.
4. Full-backs attacking and midfield players finding space. Strikers providing targets.

Technical Warm-Up
Passing and Recieving (6 mins per station) (25mins)
1. Player on ball passes into middle player, who lays the ball off for a long pass to player at other end. Repeat on opposite side.
2. Player on ball plays into middle player who drives into space and lays ball off for over-lapping player, who plays long pass to opposide end. Repeat process on opposite side.
3. Play starts at one end of triangle. Pass and follow pass. Progress to wall pass (1-2) at each cone to increase challenge.
4. Play starts with ball at one end. Pass and follow pass. Player recieving at opposite end dribbles at speed to start again.
Coaching points
Accurate passing at all times - Long and short. Weight and timing of passes.
Communication - Point, Vocal.
Movement on and off the ball - Quick, sharp, curved
Keep intensity high - Warm-up. Keep the ball moving. Can we play with one touch?
Change cones every 2mins.
