Organization: - 30x20 area
- one big goal
- three counter goals
Instructions: - 2v2 transition game
- players become defense after scoring
- if goal is scored by defense, defense stays on
- defense remains on unless scored on
- if attackers are scored on in counter goal, new attackers on
- if ball goes out on sideline, play restarts from own teams endline
- play to 5 or 5min
Coaching Points: - quick transition to attack after possession is won
- give support, push up fast!
- attack goal right away after possession is won
- play forward when you have the ball (how quickly can you score?)
When to high press?
Progressions: - 3v2s
Regressions: - 1v2s

- 5v5 or similar
- counter goals
- attacking #7,8,9,10,11
- defending #1,2,3,4,5
Instructions: - attacking team play to big goal
- defending team to counter goals
- play restarts from coach if needed, let the game flow
Coaching Points: - quick transition to attack after possession is won
- give support, push up fast
- exploit the opponent when unbalanced/disorganized
- forward movements off the ball when in possession
- attack goal right away after possession is won
When to press?
Progression: - add middle third 'scoring zone' if defenders are pushed up in 'scoring zone' and score = automatic win
Regression: - add line of confrontation for defending team

Organization:- two 20x10 areas
Instructions: - Play 4v4+2 or similar
- after winning possession, defending team counters and plays other target neutral in opposite area
- all players move to play in new area
- points for every successful counter
Coaching Points: - Quick transition to attacking
- Exploit the opponent when unbalanced/disorganized
- Keep the ball when you can't play forward
- Push the defensive line up
