Duration:15 minutes
Objectives: Getting players comfortable engaging opposition in a 1v1 situation
Emphasis: Understanding 1v1 situation, where to attack, how to attack
Coaching Points: Attack with speed, attac defender straight on
Organization: Same set up as dribbling portion
Equipment: Cones, Balls
Goals: Players understanding when to engage in a 1v1 and where to attack defender
Instructions: One side will play a pass across to opposite side (for younger age groups, have players begin with the ball) Attacking player will attempt to beat defender and dribble across the line. Players will go back to their own line. Switch sides every 4 minutes.

Duration: 10 minutes
Objectives: Players dribbling with traffic
Emphasis: Keeping the ball close, not kicking and running after it
Coaching Points: Part of the foot/part of the ball while dribbling. Guiding the ball through traffic
Organization: Same set up as previous square
Equipment: Cones/Balls
Goals: Players being able to dribble through traffic with their head up and under control.
Instructions: All 4 lines will begin dribbling at the same time and must dribble through the middle square and dribble to the opposite line.
Progression: Have players dribble through traffic then perform turn and return back to their own line.
