Warm UP (10 mins)

All players start with a ball.

Each of the four pug goals are labelled 1-4.

On coaches command players dribble with ball close to feet and try and score in the goal shouted out

Coaching Point

Keep ball close

Head up to see goal/ avoid collisions

When striking ball (head down, knee over ball, accuracy using non kicking foot next to ball)

Battleship (10 mins)

All players line up on one side of the square with a ball.

Keeping the ball close they must dribble (row their ship across the ocean).

Coaches aim to sink their boat by passing ball across ocean and hitting their ship with ball (below knee)

If players/players ball hit by coaches ball they become a shooter alongside the coach

Coaching Points

Close control.

Head up to run into space/avoid collisions

When a shooter- keep knee over ball/ head down and aim at players running across the grid

Clean your Room (10 mins)

All Players with a ball. Coaches split the players into 2 even teams (red/blue above)

On coaches command players try to shoot their ball into the other sides goal.

All players must stay on their side of the grid.

Whoever has a "tidier room" (ie less balls on their side) wins

Coaching Point

Head up to look for space

Dribble to space to shoot into empty goal

Correct kicking technique (as previous)
