Football/Soccer Session Plan Drill (Colour): Warm Up

Warm Up (5 mins)

Players get into partners and one partner will have a ball.

Number 1 will dribble the ball to the half way point while the opposite partner will jog to the half way point

At the halfways point partners will switch possession of the ball and return back to their start position.

Progressions to be applied -

Limited number of touches and also a time limit to get to the halfway and back to start position.

Activity One

Players in the middle of theplaying area are to start with a ball

Players in possession of a ball are to dribble around the area and look to play a 1-2 with an outside player, once the pass is complete the inside player must take the ball and dribble around looking for another outside player to play another 1-2

Activity Two

Players seperated into four courners

on call players run to the other end of the field and turn to contest for a ball played into the centre and then go up one on one against eachother to win a point for their team by beating thr defender and scoring a goal!
