Description :
> 6v4.
> 4v1 in middle with 5 outside players.
> inner grid 10x10, outer grid 30x30.
> team 1 will look to complete 10 passes inside the smaller grid against a defender from team 2 to gain a point.
> the defender inside the small grid must look to apply pressure on the ball & win back as quick as possible. Whenever they get the ball, they must look to play pass to teammates who are inside the bigger grid around the small grid.
> as soon as team 2 receive the ball, they are now the possession team & they must look to complete 10 passes to gain a point. They also gain a point when the 1 defender passes ball out successfully.
> work for 4 minutes then rotate teams.
Coaching Points :
> communication on & off the ball.
> movement on & off the ball.
> decison making on the ball - first time? control?
> weight of pass when in grid but also switching to another grid.

Warm Up (15 mins)
Description :
> 10x10 grids.
> 4v1.
> each grid will have 4 players inside with 1 opposing defender who can only enter when the passing team receive the ball.
> objective for the passing players is to make 8 or more passes before transeferring the ball over to any grid that does not have a ball.
> grid 1 & grid 4 will be working while grid 2 & 3 are waiting for a ball. If #1 switches over to #2 then #4 must be aware of this & they can go to either #1 or #3 with their pass.
> 4 defenders will be stationed in the middle of all 4 grids & will take turns when defending. As soon as they pressure the passing players they go back to middle for their rest.
> if defenders win possession of ball or kick ball out they gain a point. Once they have a combined score of 5 points they will swap with a team of their choice.
Progression :
> each grid will now have a permanent defender in with them.
> each grid will now have a ball. Can you transfer your ball over quick enough without have 2 balls at one time?
