Setup
Use entire gym. Divide into 6. Line up 6-8 players with a ball on one side. Place one defender in each of the 6 squares with a pinny on..
Activity:
Players will attempt to dribble from one side of the gym to the other but must dribble through all 6 squares in any order. Defenders will try an kick ball out.
If player loses the ball, they remain in the grid without their ball and can be used by the other dribblers to combine with to get around defenders.
Initially, have the defenders play only in the "crab" position. Stomachs up, moving on there hands and feet. Defenders must stay in their own quadrant.
Progression: defenders are standing
Coaching points:
Head up
Look for space around defender
Tight touches near defender to protect ball
Change of pace
Change of direction

Set Up
Use full gym or rectangle 30x20
-Create a gate in the middle of the gym 5 yds wide.
-Add 2 small gates at the end of each long side of the rectangle
-Split the rest of the players evenly and line up with ball at diagonal cones(A+B)
Instruction
-At the same time, a player from A & B runs the ball through the central gate and goes 1v1 with defender to dribble through either goal
-Once the attacker has either dribbled the ball through the goal or lost the ball, he becomes the defender and the previous defender takes the ball to the back of the closest que. Next attacker goes as soon as ball is either lost or scored to take advantage of opportunity and force defender to transition quickly
Progression:
2 attackers go together with one ball to create a 2 v1. Still must dribble through a gate to score. The attacker who scores remains an attacker, the partner becomes the next defender.
Repeat
