15-20mins
Players in groups of 4-5.
Play 2v1 endline. Defender plays the ball to 2 attackers. Teams switch roles after each round.
1) Defender plays ball in to either attacker.
2) Attacker plays ball in with 2nd attackers back to goal line.
Coaching points:
1) Immediate pressure - close down space quickly
2) Angle of approach - curve run to prevent pass to 2nd attacker and force 1st attacker wide
3) Body position - low, side-on, see the ball
4) Patience - don't have to win the ball immediately

20mins
Same set up as before. Now play 2v2.
Coaching points:
- Pressure the ball, do not let the attacker's head come up
- Second defender must cover the goal and be aware of the 2nd attacker
- First defender should funnel the 1st attacker wide. If the 1st attacker is trapped, 2nd defender may move in for the steal.
- 1st & 2nd defender should stay balanced, not becomming too spread out to prevent being split.
