Organization:
Grid can vary to suit age group/ability level. (usually 20x25)
Two mini goals at the endlines
Instructions:
Split team into two even teams (if possible).
Give (or let the players decide) each player a number. (if there are 5 players on a team, number them 1-5)
Coach has all the balls in the center. Calls out a number, and plays the ball in the grid.
The two players who's number the coach calls goes 1v1 to goal
Coaching Points:
1v1 attacking/defending prinicples.
Encourage the players to be creative and decisive when attacking
Being patient while defending and not diving in.
Progressions:
Coach can call out more than one number at a time to go 2v2, 3v3, etc.

Half field, use cones to mark out channels (width of 18)
Two mini goals on the each corner of the half.

Instructions:
Free play.
Coaching Points:
Focus on more interchanging parts and movement.
Width to create space for yourself and/or teammates.
Body shape, opening up to space/field, receiving the ball with proper foot depending on what you want to next, etc.

Organization:
1.12 players
2.Players work in pairs, set up as shown
3.1 ball per pair
Instructions:
1.Players work in groups of two
2.Passing the ball to each other
3.When one of the players stops the ball with the sole of their foot the other player must close that side down, e.g. when stopped with the right foot the pressing angle is from the right (thus forcing attacker to use their left)
4.Pressing player then returns to their starting position the group start to pass again

P – Introduce techniques of tackling, once the ball is stopped the player pressing now tackles the stationary ball
