Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Endline/Zone Game (Start Time: 2019-07-16 10:10:00)

1v1 End Line/Zone Soccer (20 mins)

Organization:

Set up 3 fields, side by side, sharing sidelines. Approx - 16yds x 12yds

Instructions:

- Players battle 1v1 on the field to score.

- Winner stays on and defends a new player that enters from opposite side. Waiting players always have a ball ready to start.

- Player who loses must rotate off the field to wherever there are less players

P - Have players score by controlling the ball on the endline.

R - Players score to end zones, make them larger if needed.

Coaching Points:

- Encourage players to try multiple ways of unbalancing their defender

- Turns/Moves

- Attack the front foot

- Change in direction followed by changed in speed

- Entry, Execution, and Exit touches
