Organization:
As shown.
Instructions:
Players are grouped into 3.
Exercise always starts with the player in the center who has a ball. The center player has a choice of passing to a player on the right/left. Whoever receives the pass now combines and plays 2v1 against the other player that was left out. If the defender wins the ball, he/she has a choice dribbling to the end line or shooting into the mini goals. After a goal is scored or the ball goes out of bounds, the defender automatically becomes an attacker by moving to the center line while the two attackers move to the lines on the sides.
Coaching Points:
Weight and accuracy of passing
Movement with and without the ball
Decision making of when to pass and when to dribble
Awareness of defender’s positioning
Finish with strike on target
Finish off rebounds.
