Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Finishing

Basic

Players line up near the corner flag (1)

1 player stands in red coned box in middle of goal (2)

Players at position 1 cross/pass the ball into the red box

Player in the box has 1 touch to shoot and try to score.

Once the player has shot, they get their ball and head to the back of the line at position 1.

Once the player at position 1 has crossed the ball, they sprint to the red box and wait for the next ball to be played in.

The second team while waiting stands behind the goal and collects the balls for the first team.

Team has 2 minutes to try and score as many goals as possible.

Swap teams.

Progressions:

Cross has to land in the red box otherwise shot doesnt count.

If team behind catch a ball without it bouncing, a goal is taken off the shooting team.
