Football/Soccer Session (Difficult): Tuesday PM: 1/14/20

4 grid Rondo (30 mins)

Set Up: 4 12x12 grids, all connected (24x24 total)

Goal:

Green: Obtain all 4 pinnies in hand

Red: Score in one of the small goals or last 5 rounds without losing to the above goal

Rules:

1) Never more than 5v2 in a single square although less is always allowed

2) Players and possession may transfer grids at any time for both teams provided rule 1 is not broken

3) To get a pinnie (hanging on each of the small goals), green must connect 5 passes in a square and the ball must be in that square still

4) If the ball crosses an internal line, pass count resets to 0

5) 1 pinnie in hand per player, no passing of pinnies once one is in-hand

6) Ball is only considered dead if it leaves the area as a whole, otherwise, it is always live

Coaching Points

1) Use numerical advantage to move defenders around until ready to connect 5 passes

2) Support the play when able to and when needed

3) Immediate recognition of loss of possession to deny a goal being scored and to win the ball back before it leaves the grid
