Method
The game begins with a ball from the goalkeeper to his designated team. They must try and break in to the attacking area (Shaded sections) before shooting at the goal. Only defending team is allowed in to their shaded area to receive the ball. The middle area is a 3v3.
Progression
Teams must complete 3 passes before shooting at goal, with the shot still coming from the inside of the shaded areas.
Coaching points
1. Correct set position - Hands up, knees slightly bent, weight forward on balls of feet, feet shoulder width apart.
2. Keep eyes on the ball.
3. Move across goal, side stepping and keep body square to ball
4. Stay off of goal line.

Method
On the coaches command the goalkeeper will move from the starting position (Middle of the goal, off of goal line) to position A, setting between the cones. Once the goalkeeper shouts set, the server will volley the ball to the keeper for him to save in the approprite way, before returning to the starting poition. He repeats this process for position B & C.
This will be 1 set. The keeper will complete 2 sets before swapping with resting player.
Progression
The coach will shout A, B or C as the trigger for the goalkeeper. He must react to the command by moving to the correct position and setting for the shot. He will give 3x commands. This will be 1 set. The keeper will complete 2 sets before swapping with resting player.
Coaching points
1. Set between the cones at each gate, not ahead or behind.
2. Correct set position - Hands up, knees slightly bent, weight forward on balls of feet, feet shoulder width apart.
3. Shout of "Set" must be clear and projected.
Feedback
Feedback should be:
- Positive (To help reinforce the keepers desire to develop).
- Analytical (To ensure that what is being observed is correct and useful).
- Corrective (To maximise the keepers skill development).
