Setup:
20x44 grid (short but wide)
3 teams
Activity:
Team in possession can use outside players. Connect 5 internal passes to score.
1st time through -- must take AT LEAST 3 touches (force changes of direction)
2nd interval -- No restrictions --> compete
Coaching Points:
~ 3 phases of COD: a) opposite touch/fake b) fake shot/pass and then COD c) expode away with big touch

Intervals:
3 min work + 1 min rest x 3 = 12 min
Setup:
Wide channel in midfield with wide zones (adjust smaller if 3v3).
Players score by getting ball from wide channel to wide channel.
Once in wide channel, switch to other wide player and play in.
Progression:
+ When wide player receives ball, they play to other wide player who DRIBBLES into the game. Passer takes place in wide channel.
+ Allow ONE wide defender to defend in wide channel.
Coaching Points:
~ Width and depth of central players.
~ Positive first touch of wide player in direction of next touch (pass or dribble)

Same field setup as previous game.
Same players involved.
Activity:
Each team attacks a set of small goals.
Team in possession can score in their goals ONLY after connecting both wide areas.
Start with only ONE wide defender at a time.
Progress to full pressure.
Coaching Points:
~ Wide players should be on different vertical lines (one wide, one inside)
~ Open body shape so players face the way they want to play (might be sideways or backward)

Activity:
Ball always starts near midfield (throw-ins, free kicks).
Attacking team scores in big goal (3 points). Defending team scores in counter goals (1 point).
Coachin Points:
~ Utilizing 2v1 overloads out wide
~ Wigers tucking inside for outside backs to overlap

+ 1 whistle - sprint; 2 whistles - jump and fake header; 3 whistles - backward run
