Explanation
2 teams 7 players each
Red shirts play up and down the pitch
Yellow shirts play across the pitch
Play starts with outside player
players are to pass the ball from end to end through the middle 3 players ( min 2 players are to touch the ball in the middle before passing to outside players)
When outside player recieves the ball they must pass to other player on the outside who than take the ball inside the playing area.
If you pass the ball to the outside player you assume their position.

Make grid Bigger / Smaller
Increase running speed.
Place disc in the middle of playing area to replicate 4 x smaller square's.

Explination:
Red team start play and attempt to pass the ball through the grid to the opposite end. ( North / South )
Yellow team attempt to win the ball as quickly as possible. Once possession is gained secure the ball and attempt to pass to either end ( East-West ). Red team now attempt to win the ball back as quickly as possible.
If you pass the ball to the outside player you change positions with them.
Progression:
Smaller / larger Playing Area
Limit touches.
Team Task
Pass the ball from end to end looking to change the point of attack and find open field space.
Player Tasks
Take your 1st touch away from where the ball just came and away from closest defender
Scan for space and time

Win the ball back as quickly as possible in BPO.

Coaches Cues
When you receive the ball open your body to take your 1st away from defenders.
When you are in possession be available to recieve the ball.
before you recieve the ball scan for opposition players and positioning.
When in posession pass the ball to a team mate in a better position than you.
If you are the closest defender close the ball carrier.

Red Team defends Large Goals

Explination:
All outfield players are to sart above the line of the flags
Play starts with yellow team on the 1/2 way line who try and score in large goals.
Red team are to win the ball back as quickly as possible.
Once red team secure posession they are to attempt to score in either goal using combination play and changing the point of attack.
Progression:
Play starts at different areas on the pitch. Sideline, GK. killer pass from the yellow team. etc.
Team Task
Maintain possession and build attack through middle third.
Player Tasks
GK - Pass the ball to a team mate on the opposite side of the pitch from where the ball was delivered. if unable plass to someone who can.
Take your 1st touch away from defender.
Pass to a team mate under the least defesive pressure.
3,4 - Be in a position to recieve the ball and take your 1st touch forward. if unable pass to someone who can.
Ensure you are not on the same side of the field when in possession.
Pass the ball to a team mate who is not under pressure from defender.
Take your 1st touch away from Defender
2,5 - Be in a position to recieve the ball and take your 1st touch forward. if unable pass to someone who can.
6 - Be in a position to recieve the ball and take your 1st touch forward. if unable pass to someone who can.

Position yourself where the defender is unable to see you and the ball.
Allow 3,4 to carry the ball into the middle 3rd if they are able. offer support only when required.

Coaches Cues
GK: When you recieve the ball if able take your 1st touch away in the opposite direction than you recieved it.
Scan for a team mate who is not being marked
3,4: Once your team secure the ball make the ground as big as possible by dropping backward and being in a position to receive.
2,5: immidate transition from BPO>BP
6,8,10: When you win and secure the ball look to change the point of attack by passing the ball to a team mate under the least defensive pressure.
When you win and secure possession your 1st look / option should be for a forward pass.
