Organization:
1. 20 x 20 yard area divided into four 10 x 10 yard areas set up as shown
2. Teams split evenly (3 attackers, 1 defender)
3. 1 ball per attacker (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
- The attackers must attempt to maintain possession of their own ball for as long as possible
- The defending players must attempt to dispossess all attacking players in their area
- When the defender wins the ball they must pass it outside of the area, once the ball is outside the area it can not be used again by the attacking team
- If any attacker loses their ball they must work with a teammate to help maintain possession
- Play until all balls are out of area
- Switch the defending players at regular intervals
Coaching Points:
- Body in between ball and the defender
- Body weight is on the leg nearest to the defender
- Head up to observe available options
- When the defending player is behind you move the ball with furthest surface away from them
Progressions:
- Play two defenders against two attackers
Regressions:
-Allow each attacker one life, so that the ball must be kicked from the area twice before they work with their team mates

-Players score in regular fashion in either goal
-Game is over when goal is scored or ball leaves the field

Warm Up 1 (10 mins)
Organization:
1. Set up players in groups of two with 1 ball per group
2. Set up field as shown
Instructions:
1. One player will be the attacker trying to shield the ball from the defender
2. The attacker will have 30 seconds to keep their body between the defender and the ball
3. The defender is trying to touch the ball with their foot
4. The defender receives a point for every touch
5. The attacker receives 1 point for every 5 seconds ball is shielded from the defender
6. Switch roles at the end of the time

3. Play ball into attackers feet and have them shield from defender
